Hello, everyone! It's Balie here. I wanted to share my day with you all - March 19th, 2023, a freezing 24-degree day that kept me bundled up inside. While the weather outside was frightful, I took the opportunity to stay indoors and focus on some mindful living and wellness practices that I love.

As I cozied up on the couch, wrapped in my favorite blanket, I decided to start my day with a soothing cup of herbal tea. Sipping slowly, I practiced being present, enjoying the warmth and aroma of the tea, and feeling gratitude for this quiet moment to myself. To make the experience even more enjoyable, I used my cherished electric kettle (one of the fantastic kitchen tools I recommend on the website) to heat up the water quickly and efficiently.

After my tea, I dedicated some time to my meditation practice, focusing on my breath and finding a sense of inner peace amidst the chill outside. I also made sure to take my daily dose of Garden of Life probiotics, a product I truly believe in and proudly promote on MindfulEatingHabits.com. These probiotics have made a significant difference in my overall gut health and well-being.

Since I was spending the day indoors, I thought it would be a perfect time to try out a new, nourishing recipe (Also just added to the recipe page!). I opted for a warming, nutrient-dense vegetable and lentil soup, packed with immune-boosting ingredients like garlic, ginger, and turmeric. As I prepared the soup, I focused on being present and mindful of each step in the process, appreciating the colors, textures, and smells of the ingredients.

While the soup simmered, I took a moment to unroll my yoga mat and stretch my body. I find that yoga is not only great for my physical well-being but also helps me feel more connected and in tune with my body. I followed up my yoga practice with a short session of deep breathing exercises to further reduce stress and promote relaxation.

As the day came to an end, I settled in with one of my favorite wellness books, diving deeper into the world of mindful eating and holistic health. The day may have been cold and frosty, but it provided a wonderful opportunity to focus on my well-being and nurture my mind, body, and soul.

Lastly, I want to say thank you for all the support I've received on this journey with starting and maintaining MindfulEatingHabits.com and my blog. It truly means the world to me. Balie
